About This Sheet Music

  ◊ Key: G major (one sharpF♯)

◊ Time Signature: 2/4 (two quarter-note beats per measure)

  ◊ Musical Symbols:

    ● Octave clefs; a small '8' is seen atop each clef, meaning the entire song
will be played an octave higher than written. (However, if you’re playing
on a 49-key keyboard, this will not be possible; play as written.)

    ● Metronome mark indicating a tempo of 120 BPM.

    ● poco rit. indicates a subtle ritardando.

    ● Fermata

How to Practice

  • Use the fingering techniques you learned earlier.

  • Read the notes as you touch the keys, even if you have the notes memorized. Think of the note names in your head as you go.

  • Practice until you can play both staves simultaneously without any mistakes at least three times, then adjust tempo as you improve.
