Definition: An augmented seventh chord is an augmented triad with an added seventh interval above the root. However, this phrase usually refers to the augmented-minor seventh chord:
  • G Augmented Minor 7th (Gaug7 or G+7):

      Root: G
      M3: B
      +5: D♯
      m7 (minor 7th): F
