Brandy has over 20 years experience in playing the piano, and has spent over half that time teaching others how to play. She is classically trained on both the piano and the guitar, and is disciplined in many playing styles.

Experience:

Intrigued by the piano as a small child, Brandy became a self-taught student of the piano around the age of 8, and began her formal training at age 11. She delved deeper into music when she began learning the guitar at age 13, and paid for the lessons by teaching piano to local students. Brandy’s history as a self-taught pianist drove her to teach beginners of both the piano and the guitar, and her experience allowed her to co-write a music book at the age of 16. She has since familiarized herself with the technical aspect of the piano, and now has over five years experience in piano tuning and repairs. Brandy continues to teach pianists of all levels.
