From Boogie To The Beatles

Mention Fats Domino and the first thing that comes to mind is likely to be a bit of boogie woogie piano. It's true that many of his songs feature the boogie woogie style, particularly hits like "Blueberry Hill" and "Ain't That A Shame."

But less well known is the fact that he inspired whole generations of musicians after him, including John Lennon and Paul McCartney, whose hit "Lady Madonna" is modeled on Fats' technique.
